Zinc Bistro is a modern American take on a Parisian bistro that consistently places in the top three (usually in the top spot) of Best French Restaurants by the Phoenix New Times. Conveniently located in Kierland Commons, Zinc Bistro is a great spot to enjoy Sunday Brunch. Just grab a seat outside where you can enjoy a lovely charcuterie or cheese board, a nice glass of wine while you people watch. Another dining spot anchored by local Chef Matt Carter, Zinc doesn’t disappoint!
Enjoy the Atmosphere
You can choose to sit in the dining area inside, with shiny crystal and white tablecloths, pressed-tin look ceiling, and lighted Eiffel Tower centerpiece. It’s a casual, yet somehow elegant atmosphere. Or stay outside on the patio in front of the restaurant, where like a true Parisian bistro, you’re almost on the sidewalk. The cute white marble bistro tables with wicker chairs seal the deal. There’s also a slightly secluded garden patio (complete with gurgling fountain) inside, with black marble tables, and lots of leafy trees and palms and mirrors to enlarge the intimate space.
Enjoy the French Cuisine
Zinc Bistro Scottsdale’s oyster bar offers fresh seafood flown in daily to this desert paradise. Popular menu items include the French Onion Soup, Croque Monsieur, and Provencal Bouillabaisse.
Start your lunch with lamb meatballs, mussels, a crab crepe, or a cheese and charcuterie board. Pâté maison or foie gras (prepared daily) are a few more of the French options to get you in the mood. Salads and soups include the Dungeness Crab Salad, Smoked Tuna Salad Sandwich, or yummy Crispy Duck Confit. You can’t go wrong with the crowd favorite Zinc Burger and the Croque Monsier. Rich side options include Truffle and Parmesan Frites and bubbly mac and cheese, or less calorie laden options of haricots verts or grilled asparagus. Entrée options include Scottish Salmon or an herb omelet. If you don’t have room for Malted Strawberry “Cheesecake” or a Ricotta Beignet, get them to go!
Zinc’s dinner menu offers a few slightly different appetizer options. We suggest the Tuna Tartar or Spanish Octopus – grilled and fried, with charred pineapple and shishito peppers, chimichurri, herb aioli, candied lemon and chorizo! Choose from Herbed Potato Gnocchi, Jidori Chicken, Roasted Duck Breast, Provencal Bouillabaisse, crab omelet, salmon and more as your entrée. You can order your meal a la cart, or order the set Zinc Dinner For Two with soup or salad, chateaubriand and soufflé for dessert.
Plenty of wine options are served all day at Zinc Bistro Scottsdale, including Prosecco and Grand Brut choices. French-inspired Zinc cocktails include an Espresso Martini. A great closer with your beignet.
