Talavera

Amazing views and amazing food are what you can expect at Talavera! That says it all. Stunning desert mountains act as the backdrop to incredible cuisine. This upscale casual restaurant has a modern, yet old world feel.

Contemporary Interior

The warm wood tones, browns and grays with punches of scarlet in the main dining area provide a sophisticated, understated background that lets you focus on the food and the view. Accented with wrought iron accents, separate indoor dining areas offer privacy and a heavier Spanish villa vibe. Keeping with the Latin theme, they have musicians playing Flamenco guitar on Thursday nights at Talavera in Scottsdale. Talavera is a great spot for a special night out, date night or for celebrating anything.

The View

The full glass exterior wall of the main dining room overlooks the covered patio with its rustic pergola framing the mountains beyond. If the weather is nice, you should dine al fresco out on the patio so you can watch the vibrant desert sunset while enjoying your delicious meal.

The Food at Talavera

While specializing in traditional Spanish cuisine, Talavera uses local produce when available. Appetizers are light so you can do justice to your entrée, and your options include Chiles Toreados, Marcona Almonds and House-pickled Vegetables. Tapas options include prawns and grilled octopus. Crudo options are Lobster Tostadas, Ahi Tuna, Steak Tartare and Grilled Oysters.

For paella lovers, there are four paella selections and three steak options for steak lovers. Other dinner entrees include a Pan Seared Barramundi, and Braised Mole Pork Shank. Several choices of charcuteria, queso and sides can round out your Spanish-themed plate.
