Sizzle Korean BBQ

HomeScottsdale DiningSizzle Korean BBQ

The Scottsdale location of Sizzle Korean BBQ is near Old Town, so after a long day of wandering through art galleries, walk over for some great, authentic Korean BBQ. If you are a Korean BBQ connoisseur, or just love meat, you must try this spot on your next trip to Scottsdale!

How It Works

The contemporary interior has a nice mix of warm woods and lacey ceiling baffles that offset the hard, shiny stainless steel of the exhaust hoods that extend down to each grill. A few colorful Mondrian glass accents in the storefront add a nice pop of color.

Each table has its own grill where your meal is prepared. The second you’re seated, your table fills up with bright, colorful condiments and complimentary appetizers. You’ll need to try them all, especially the cilantro kimchi. Your server will bring your order out, leave you to cook or begin the process of grilling your meat to perfection for you.

The Meat and More

It’s all about the beef and pork at Sizzle Korean BBQ. You can order sides and appetizers too, including Korean Dumplings, Beef Tartar, and Spicy Stir Fried Squid, three rice selections, and a few stews, soups and noodles, but the focus is on the fresh meat you’re going to grill.

Order the popular Beef Belly and Boneless Short Rib, or try one of the other beef options including a Tenderloin, Rib Eye, Marinated Short Ribs, and Beef Tongue. If you prefer pork, choices include the Black Pork Belly or the Black Marinated Short Rib. The meal combos work great too. Select pork or beef, then just choose your favorites from the list. It’s a great way to taste a variety of their meats.

Do not skip dessert, even if you feel too full. This isn’t a calorie-laden plate of gooey chocolate goodness—although that can be nice sometimes; this is refreshing shaved ice with fresh fruit. Cool, light and airy, it’s the perfect way to end your meal.

If you have to wait for a table, just order one of their soju cocktails! The Sizzle doesn’t have a full bar, but they do offer a wide variety of wines, Asian beer, soft drinks and those lovely soju cocktails.

The Scottsdale Location

Call ahead (480-247-2027) to make a reservation, as their seating capacity is limited at this time due to the pandemic. Also verify their hours of operation as they may change due to pandemic restrictions. Sizzle Korean BBQ has two locations in the area, but you’ll find the Scottsdale location near Old Town, at 3720 N Scottsdale Road, #200. Parking is available right next door, or you can walk in from Old Scottsdale.
