RnR Gastropub

According to both locals and tourists, RnR Gastropub is one of the best spots in Old Town Scottsdale because of its bottomless Bloody Mary and mimosa bar during weekend brunch. However, since RnR Gastropub is open seven days a week until midnight, it is a great place to visit any time of the day. Moreover, the atmosphere throughout the restaurant/bar remains true to its moniker—namely, it serves as a relaxing place to have dinner or happy-hour cocktail.

On the Menu at RnR in Scottsdale

In combination with the laid-back vibe at RnR in Scottsdale, the kitchen focuses largely on a comfort food menu with American classics such as burgers, sandwiches and salads. However, the kitchen adds a few dishes that hail from our southern neighbors with items like tacos and street corn as well as the hybrid, Jalapeno Mac & Cheese. On the sandwich menu, the signature RnR Classic Cheeseburger comes with a half-pound patty, lettuce, tomato, etc., yet if you want to avoid red meat, diners can order an Impossible burger that is 100% plant based. Two other sandwiches that merit attention include the Reuben and the Cubano; the former uses classic marble rye while the latter uses a grilled hoagie roll. Both sandwiches come with the ingredients we all know and love such as hunks of pastrami in the Reuben and moist, slow-roasted pork in the classic Cuban.

Cocktail Scottsdale

Behind the bar, the knowledgeable barkeeps create an ample variety of cocktails and sling an equally impressive array of wine and beer. Though the menu has a well-curated selection of wines, rosé and champagne, most visit for the handcrafted cocktails. The house margarita comes in five different variations: mango, peach, strawberry, watermelon and Chambord. The La Pinta Mule and Lone Star Mule faithfully imitate the popular Moscow Mule, although the Pinta uses pomegranate tequila and cucumber while the latter Lone Star uses blueberry and mint. The Pearway to Heaven at RnR in Scottsdale pays tribute to the prickly pear cactus with the additional hints of lavender, mint and lemon. No matter which drink you order, if you are visiting in summer, every single one is perfect when the temperature hits 100 degrees!

Additional Details

As mentioned above, the weekend brunch offers bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary cocktails; however, you should arrive early since the patio tends to become quite crowded. RnR is located at 3737 N. Scottsdale Road, the address is also ideal to explore Old Town before or after dinner.
