Olive and Ivy

Olive and Ivy is one of many restaurants that sits adjacent to the crosscut canal as well as Scottsdale Fashion Square. In fact, it is an ideal restaurant while shopping in the nearby mall, especially if you want to avoid the food court. On the menu, the kitchen prepares an innovative medley of classics from the American cookbook, but overall the menu expands into different territories and flavors. The drink menu also has its own unique eclectic streak, with a curated selection of wine, beer and cocktails.

Fox Restaurant Concepts

The idea behind Olive and Ivy in Scottsdale comes from the restaurant group, Fox Restaurant Concepts, also the purveyors behind popular local restaurants Arrogant Butcher, Flower Child, Dough Bird, Blanco, and Culinary Dropout, just to name a few. Moreover, just like these other excellent Phoenix restaurants, Olive & Ivy presents the same impeccable service and innovative cuisine as all of their others.

Visit Olive and Ivy for Lunch

Open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, Olive and Ivy prepares a menu that features a little from the Mediterranean and a little from the U.S.A. To begin, the kitchen prepares a variety of bruschetta, small plates and salads while the flatbreads satisfy heartier palates. In fact, the braised short rib or the pesto chicken flatbread is lunch all by itself! The sandwiches include a turkey grinder, bacon cheeseburger, chicken panini, lamb gyro, and various other classics such as pastrami, tuna, etc. The lunch entrees are somewhat limited; however, each one packs a powerful wallop of flavor. For example, the Atlantic salmon made with beet, fingerling potato and a horseradish vinaigrette is extraordinary while the Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin using Swiss chard, smoked onion and a sherry au jus seems too brilliant for a lunch entrée.

Stay for Dinner

The dinner menu features many of the dishes as the lunch menu; however, the kitchen works just a little harder at dinner. The menu offers more entrée selections in addition to the salmon and pork tenderloin mentioned above, some of which include the bone-in ribeye, the chicken scaloppini, filet mignon and a mouthwatering shrimp scampi risotto. Ask your server about a wine pairing according to your entrée because the wine list is extensive and impressive. Furthermore, the wines hail from all over the world with varietals such as Riesling, Nebbiolo, Malbec, Merlot, Chardonnay and the not often seen Viura.
