Lux Coffee

Lux Coffee is a popular coffee and dining spot with locations in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Flagstaff. But Lux Coffee shop is more than just a coffee bar; it’s a coffee bar with coffee, cocktails, beer, wine, and delicious pastries and breakfast items.

A Casual Atmosphere

This casual coffee bar sports the usual coffee bar feel with a nice mixture of tables and comfy furniture. The Phoenix location of Lux has exposed wooden trusses and industrial lighting for a slightly contemporary vibe. There are several casual outdoor sitting areas too. And of course there’s free Wi-Fi too.

Coffee and More

Lux Coffee shop has all the coffee drinks you love and want in a coffee bar, starting with their “good old-fashioned cup of coffee,” to lattes, espressos, cappuccinos, iced coffee, chai, iced tea, hot teas and more. They also offer the usual coffee bar non-coffee drink choices of lemonade, orange or grapefruit juice, hot chocolate and Italian soda. Not-so-usual options include an Arnold Palmer, and a nice selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. If you’re a fan of whipped cream on your coffee drinks, be sure to order it here; Lux makes theirs in-house.

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Lux Coffee has a wide variety of things to munch on while you enjoy your coffee or your glass of wine. Choose from fresh fruit arranged prettily along the counter, to eggs made to order, or breakfast sandwiches (try the chorizo biscuits and gravy if it’s on the menu), croissants and a delicious looking Dutch Baby with fresh fruit and a sprinkling of powdered sugar and whipped cream.

Bakery items include seasonal pies and cobblers, cookies, cakes and cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, pop tarts, bear claws, quiche, veggie hash, and donuts. Plus, there are gluten-free and vegan options too. A few of the past pastry selections have included strawberry thumbprint cookies, salted caramel cupcakes, turtle brownies, and lemon bars.

Popular menu items include their creamy mac & cheese (with jalapenos and bacon) and the chocolate croissants (get there early, ‘cause these babies sell out fast).

Lux Details

Open from 6am until midnight, daily, the Lux Coffee bar in Phoenix is located at 4404 North Central Ave, Suite 1. Some customers have had a little trouble finding Lux on their first trip, as it is located in an older building, not a stand-alone shop. Be patient and just follow the crowd.
