Lucky’s Indoor Outdoor – Cool Bars in Phoenix

HomeFavoritesScottsdale ActivitiesDiningLucky’s Indoor Outdoor – Cool Bars in Phoenix

What was a discarded, abandoned office building now has new life as Lucky’s Indoor Outdoor. And what a life it is! Lucky’s has lively indoor and outdoor areas where there’s always something going on. The menu only includes refreshing adult beverages, but there’s always a food truck out on the patio. Learn more about one of the best bars in Phoenix below!

Indoor/Outdoor Lifestyle

Indoors has a large inviting bar, a retro turquoise and orange color scheme tempered by lots of warm wood tones, and the tall ceiling in the lounge area has exposed wood framing for that retro sort of mid-century lodge look, complete with antler chandelier. Combined with the vintage neon signs and bar games scattered throughout, the space has a cool, retro vibe, sort of like stepping into a Quinton Tarantino movie.

The expansive outdoor patio feels wide open and offers fire pits for those cool mountain nights, bocce ball, and picnic tables. It’s dog-friendly too. There is live music on the weekends, and upcoming events include a movie viewing; it’s one of the cool bars in Phoenix for a reason!

Refreshing Adult Beverages

The drink menu features a more spirit-forward menu inside and a more tropical, fun menu outside. Cocktails include the Spaghett (miller high life, aperol and lemon), the Irish Bird (teelings small batch, pineapple, peach, lemon, carpano bitter and luxardo cherry), and the South of the Border Punch (olmeca altos plata, pama, Campari, hibiscus, ancho reyes, and lime).

For those who want to keep things simple, there’s a good variety of bottled beers (and cans) and there are a few (canned) wine choices too. Your beer selections include Miller High Life and Pabst, Bell’s Two Hearted IPA, plus White Claw Mango and June Shine Midnight Painkiller Hard Kombucha. They have several Pedal Haus Pilsners on tap too. And no retro-feeling bar would be complete without Guinness on draft and a couple of jello shots!

Food Trucks on Site

Local food trucks (and tents) provide the munchies at Lucky’s Indoor Outdoor. Check their social media pages to see which truck will be on site when. Their food truck vendors currently include Pizza Arno, Salsa Bites, El Pastorcito Takeria, and Wildfire. And you have to try the grilled mozzarella and cornbread arepa by MozzArepas.
