Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

HomeFavoritesScottsdale ActivitiesDiningFogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

From its first location in Porto Alegre, Brazil in 1979, Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse has expanded over the years and now has over 40 locations in North America and several more in Brazil, Mexico and the Middle East. The Fogo de Chão in Scottsdale is conveniently located near the upscale Fashion Square.

It’s All About the Meats!

This authentic Brazilian steakhouse grills its meats using traditional churrasco methods, a way of roasting meats over an open fire. The meat presenters slice cuts of meat from skewers right at your table. When you’re seated, you’re given a card; turn the card to the green side and the meat comes to you, turn to the red side while you are eating. It’s a continuous meat parade! Popular cuts include the filet mignon, lamb chop rack and bacon-wrapped steak. Premium cuts (that can serve four or more) include wagyu ribeye and New York strips, and a dry-aged tomahawk ribeye. Beef reigns supreme at Fogo de Chão, but there are pork, lamb, chicken and seafood choices too.

Dine-in

Your “Fogo® Churrasco Experience” also includes the Market Table & Feijoada Bar and Brazilian side dishes. Enjoy caramelized bananas, polenta, garlic mashed potatoes as sides, or try the farofa (a Brazilian staple made with yucca flour that is sautéed with bacon and sausage). These traditional side dishes are delivered to your table, or you can visit the Market Table for more seasonal options and specialties like Brazilian street corn and Fogo feijoada, a “traditional black bean stew with sausage served over white rice” with a farofa topping.

Desert and appetizers are extra, but are worth it. Appetizers include chilled lobster & shrimp or the impressive Seafood Tower (enough lobster, shrimp and crab claws for a group). Leave a little room for tres leches cake, flan, or the popular papaya cream.

Non-alcoholic cocktails include the Guarana Antartica, the national soda of Brazil. Wines, beers and signature cocktails are also available to compliment your meal.

Carry-Out, Curbside Pickup and More

Catering options at Fogo de Chão include group packages, a la carté, or on-site cooking and service. Fogo® To-Go and delivery includes delicious combs or a la carté with plenty of meats, side dishes and desserts to choose from. Or stop by the Butcher Shop where meats are carved fresh daily then packaged for grilling out by the pool!
