The Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix

HomeFavoritesScottsdale ActivitiesDiningThe Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix

A small to mid-sized music venue in downtown Phoenix, the Crescent Ballroom offers live music every day. The Crescent also has a popular bar and a restaurant, the Cocina 10. Located in an old automotive garage from the 1910s, this historic brick building has plenty of character, with exposed brick walls and cool wood trusses and a stripped down industrial look that works well as a music venue.

Live Music and Event Venue

The Crescent has a capacity of 550 people in the ballroom, which means you’re in for an amazingly intimate experience. You’ll need to show up early since shows are standing room only, although there is some bleacher seating at the back of the venue. It’s all first come, first seated. There is an “under-age section” too, with a barrier between the underage patrons and those who are over 21. Under-age guests enter through the south entrance of the Music Hall and stay in a separate area.

A few of the past shows were Nick Carter, William Fitzsimmons, Mandolin Orange, and even a Moth Storytelling Show. The Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix has lots of energy, and a small & intimate feel no matter what show you see or how full the space is.

Cocina 10 Kitchen & Bar

Cocina 10 has features a light menu with Mexican menu items like burritos, nachos, street tacos, and of course burgers. There are a few meatless, gluten free and dairy free menu options too. In fact, there is an entirely separate vegan menu. Customer favorites at Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix seem to be the nachos, any of the tacos, and the guacamole.

There are Burritos and Bowls, Salads, Tacos, Hot Dogs (served with home-made chips). Dessert options are a Vanilla Bean Rice Pudding or a Bag of Donuts! Check their social media for specials of the day, like the Cubano sandwich. Drinks include draft and canned beer, wine by the glass or bottle, and non-alcoholic beverages. Red Sangria and a Boiler Maker are just two of the almost 15 house specialty cocktails you can savor.

Details

The Cocina 10 kitchen is open from 11am to midnight daily, and a Brunch menu is available on the weekends from 11am to 4pm, with Happy Hour Monday through Thursday. Order food online for pick-up. Check their social media sites for the most up-to-date calendar of events.
